Gary Blake, Chairman
Chairman of the Board since 2011, & MD before that, Gary likes to think he is in charge! Gary has a real passion for people, and works closely with all of the businesses within the EBS group to nurture success. As a dedicated Spurs fan its safe to say that loyalty is a valuable attribute. Gary loves a good curry & his ideal dinner guest is Barack Obama.
James Logan, Managing Director
James joined EPC as Managing Director in August 2016. With an extensive knowledge of the food industry, James has a strong background of working with retailers and has experience of consumer insight, business development and food innovation. After working with pies, pizzas, yoghurts and ready meals, James thinks he knows good food when he tastes it! His favourite dish is buratta with san marzano tomatoes dressed with extra virgin olive oil and a great balsamic vinegar. An avid golfer, James keeps fit & flexible through regular yoga sessions.
Andy Riches, Operations Director
Andy has been with EPC since 2005 and has overseen some important projects during that time – he loves bringing in new kit and technology to our factories. Andy has a real sense of adventure and brings all that energy to his role at EPC. Andy would love Rick Stein to cook him up some seafood.
Paul Warnes, Purchasing Director
Paul is responsible for all our corporate buying decisions & has been with EPC since 2004. Prior to that he worked at mayonnaise producer Suffolk Foods from 1990. Needless to say Paul has a wealth of experience and particularly enjoys the challenges the markets can bring. And as a lifelong Norwich City fan, Paul certainly likes a challenge! Paul would love to sit down for a bite to eat with Michael Palin over Battered Skate and Chips.
Jason Belmont, Commercial Director
Jason joined EPC in early 2016 from Pepsico. He enjoys working in partnership with our customers to help realise their strategies; delivering the right portfolio of products to their businesses. Jason coaches his sons football team, and enjoys watching rugby & live music in his spare time. With the Dalai Lama as his dream dinner guest, Jason’s ideal meal is a lovely seafood risotto.
Lisa McCrystal, Finance Director
Lisa joined the team at EPC in 2011 from Kerry Group, to oversee our growing Finance, Customer Service and IT Teams. The highlight of her role at EPC is seeing members of the team develop into Finance leaders of the future. Lisa is well known in the office for her love of shoes, and also enjoys spinning and keeps Zen with yoga. Lisa would share Chicken in Pandanus leaf, Pad Krapow Moo and Mango with Francsico Goya (or Bradley Cooper!)
Carl Steckerl, Technical Director
Carl joined EBS Group back in 1997 and worked on the Billingtons sugar brand for 10 years before moving to EPC. Carl is passionate about food and gets a real buzz from seeing the products he’s had a hand in making on the supermarket shelves. He is passionate about Arsenal FC, Scouting and clocking the miles on his electric car. Carl would share a simple steak cooked on a camp fire with adventurer Chief Scout Bear Grylls.
